Softball Albums for Christmas

Hello!  I wanted to share with you today the albums I made for my daughter's softball team!  I had a blast making them, and I made one for each girl on the Texas Travelers Gold team!
I started with an awesome album by Maya Road.  It comes with an acrylic stand and can be purchased at The Crafty Scrapper (biggest and most wonderful scrapbook store around) in Waxahachie, Texas!
I got the paper at Hobby Lobby, and it is a 12"x12" paper pad.  I collected the embellishments from a lot of places, which wasn't too hard, as the shiny gold black is really "in" right now!!
Here is the group of them!  I put the little swirl embelli on the front of each one, and ribbon took care of the tops!

I kept it pretty simple on the inside, as I made 13 of them!

I hope you enjoyed this album and will check my blog again soon!

Softball Birthday Party

Here is Macy's 11th Birthday party...from 2015.  She was playing in a world series during her birthday week, so we hauled all of her birthday party stuff to the hotel and had her party after one of the games!  Big fun!

Here, you can see some of the decorations...

Evan helped me make the trophy out of plastic bowls and the like from Party City. We used a glue gun to put it all together, then painted it, and made the medallion and the flags.

 the whole party table...

We made a sucker ball for decoration!

Here are her little treat bags!

We made rocky candy bats in the colors of her team!

A closer view of the trophy filled with balls!

Little star shaped candy dishes filled with small chocolate candies.  These are small foam fingers with a wooden pop stuck in the with some tulle and a bling embellishment!

These are mason jars spray painted with chalk paint.  The tops are from a trophy shop.  They were gold and I painted them silver.  I poked a hole in the top of the jar, then screwed the toppers onto the jar.  They were filled with popcorn.  To finish the look I added ribbon and a softball embellishment!

I used a candy medallion spray painted silver, then cut out a wolf out of paper and glued it on.   I attached the medallion with ribbon and hot-glued it to the trophy.  The beaded edges are just plastic beds glued onto the trophy(spray painted afterwards.)  The stars along the bottom of the trophy are pop-dotted stickers that I painted over.  The handles were plastic ladel handles, glued on, then spray painted.

Our family!

This was her softball team!  Little cuties!

 Thanks for looking!

Softball Albums

Here are the softball albums I made for Macy's team in 2015.  The cover had a paper base that I covered with hand-cut felt pieces.  They were the Wolfpack, thus the wolf head on the front.

Here it is the the tassels showing.

We boxed them up for each player!

 Here is Macy with hers!

It was a fun album!

Softball Signing Party

One of our good friends signed with UTA this year to play softball...full ride!  This was her signing party last year!

Here is the Cookie stand I made for her.  These were items from the dollar store that I spray painted then glued together using a glue gun.

Here it is with cookies on it!

Here is the signing table and the front table with goodies on it!

Here are some other stands that I made to hold sunflower seeds...I put the softball in there for decoration.  I ended up tying the balloons to these and using them for table decorations for the side tables!

 Painting in the garage!

I couldn't resist putting this pic in of good friends enjoying the benefits of a good party!

In the top pic, you can see how the balloons are tied to the little sunflower seed holders I made!

Here, you can see the layout pretty well!

That's our girl!  Way to go, Mariah!

I bought little glass dishes from the dollar store, put sunflower seeds in them, and decorated them up right, using some of her great softball pics!

 Cookie pic!

A couple of the side tables with the decorations!

My son and another friend enjoying the party!

Another pic and decoration!
She had a blast!  Now, we are about to enjoy her playing at UTA, as Spring Softball is coming up...
